DESCRIPTION: Provide finance and budget support to a Federal government client.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Analyze budget requests from Army organizations to assess the validity and reasonableness of the amounts requested. Use budget execution data to develop cost estimating relationships and link workload and performance data with budget execution data and budget projections. Other related duties.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Basic
Ability to receive and maintain a DoD secret-level clearance
A current civilian passport
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
3 years recent, relevant experience in resource management, budget process and/or budget data management
4 additional years of recent, relevant experience can substitute for the degree
Ability to analyze large amounts of data using Microsoft Excel
Additional
Ability to translate requirements, observations and analysis into clearly defined written products
Ability to develop and present analyses using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to build effective relationships with and communicate to senior military officers and civilians
Desired
A current, active DoD secret-level security clearance
3 years recent, relevant experience in ARMY resource management, budget process and/or budget data mgmt
Experience developing cost estimating relationships
Experience on a previous assignment supporting the Army in SW Asia
