Jamie Bowling, Graphics Supervisor

Jamie Bowling began his tenure at WinTec in 1999 and is the Manager of the Graphics Department. A 1985 graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, he holds an AA Degree in Visual Communications. Jamie has over20+ years of experience working with Department of Defense contractors as an Illustrator/Graphic Artist.

Jamie started working in the DoD oriented graphics field immediately after graduating from college. His creative talents supported a small Government contractor located in Falls Church, Virginia for a short period before he accepted a position with Tracor Applied Sciences. Jamie spent 10 years at Tracor providing graphic design, technical drawing and freehand illustration to several Naval contracts. He then spent 2 years working at the Technical Information Department in the Technical Publications and Graphics divisions providing publication design/layout, logo design and computer-generated graphic media for various high-end marketing purposes such as trade show booths. This work was in support of the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division at Patuxent River, Maryland.

As the Graphics Manager at WinTec, Jamie continues to provide his design and illustration skills as well as manage the graphics division workflow and interface with customers. Jamie enjoys the challenges of identifying the needs of the customer and helping provide them with a high quality and effective product that exceeds the client's vision. Jamie looks forward to building and developing the graphics department and expanding into new sectors of graphic design.

When he's not working Jamie enjoys quiet time with his wife, watching his kids grow, ice-cold beer and the Washington Redskins.
